Eastwind Hotel - Windham

My wife and I had a wonderful weekend getaway at Eastwind Hotel Windham. Jaimie was our favorite—so entertaining and made every guest feel truly welcome! The rooms were spotless; I highly recommend booking one of the brand-new Mountain rooms. Dandy’s served amazing food and great coffee, and if you’re there on a weekend, don’t miss the family-style dinner with live music. A perfect 10/10 stay. We’ll definitely be back!

This place is truly a delight. The hotel amenities , staff and stay was truly top notch. However the icing on the cake is the excellent service provided day in and day out by Jamie. His warmth and hospitality is unmatched. He curated a drum circle one of the evenings for the guests and that was a true unique experience that another hotel has ever captured. He also has fireside s’mores ready every night and goes above and beyond to make sure each guest is having a great time. He is a gem. For a 3 day stay this place felt more than a hotel but a home.

We had such an incredible experience at Eastwind hotel. The service truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, every staff member was warm, welcoming, and attentive. One employee in particular made our stay unforgettable: Jamie! Jamie went above and beyond in every possible way. He greeted us with genuine kindness and treated us like family. It’s rare to come across someone who so clearly loves what they do, and it showed in every interaction we had with him. I stayed at Eastwind this past weekend and I was welcomed by Jamie who checked us in and was also a bar tender. He was extremely accommodating, attentive and caring, he made sure we were taken care of. He honestly made our entire stay. He was welcoming My girlfriend had a unfortunate ski event and Jamie made sure we had a room available, upon giving us a cheese board and water five star service

The Eastwind Hotel is such a gem. I love how cozy and unique the tiny homes are — they have so much charm. The on-site restaurant is absolutely delicious, featuring local ingredients and a warm, wood-burning stove that makes the whole place feel extra inviting. The atmosphere is peaceful and quaint, the perfect escape from city life. And the best part? Dogs are welcome

Our family of five has stayed at Eastwind several times, visiting all of their New York locations — Windham, Oliverea Valley, and Lake Placid — and we genuinely love them all. Eastwind is the perfect blend of thoughtful design, beautifully collected interiors, comfort, and impeccable service, all set within some of the most peaceful and breathtaking natural settings in New York State. Each property feels intentional and special, yet consistently warm and welcoming. Whether it’s a ski trip, hiking through the mountains, swimming in the lake, wandering majestic forests, taking in the scenic views, or simply slowing down to reconnect with nature, there’s truly no better place to stay. Eastwind feels like a home away from home — only more beautiful. If we could give 10 stars, we absolutely would.

Our first visit to Eastwind Hotel last week was absolutely amazing from the moment we checked in. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday and I ordered the birthday package for the room — they completely exceeded my expectations. The room was beautiful, cozy, and spotless, with every detail thoughtfully prepared. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the entire stay feel even more special. The complimentary s’mores kit was such a fun touch — we loved sitting by the fireplace enjoying a quiet evening together. And if you stop by the bar, make sure Jamie makes your drink… he creates the BEST old fashioned I’ve ever had in my life. Truly unforgettable! I can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. It was the perfect birthday getaway and we already can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend!
